Praising the Prophet ﷺ & Greetings

قَالَ ﷺ: «مَنْ صَلَّ عَلَيَّ صَلاةً صَلَّ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ بِهَا عَشَراً»

The Prophet \pbuh said: “Whoever sends a prayer upon me, Allāh sends ten upon him.”

قَالَ ﷺ: «لا تَجْعَلُوا قَبْرِيْ عِيْداً وَ صَلُّوا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّ صَلاتَكُمْ تَبْلُغُنِي حَيْثُ كُنْتُمْ»

The Prophet \pbuh said: “Do not take my grave as a place of habitual ceremony. Send prayers upon me, for verily your prayers reach me wherever you are.”

قَالَ ﷺ: «البَخِيْلُ مَنْ ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيَّ»

The Prophet \pbuh said: “A miser is one whom when I am mentioned to him, fails to send prayers upon me.”

قَالَ ﷺ: «إنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلائِكَةً سَيَّا حِيْنَ فِي الأرْضِ، يُبَلِّغُونِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي السَّلامَ»

The Prophet \pbuh: “Allāh exalted is He, has got angels scouring the earth to spread the salutations of my community.”

قَالَ ﷺ: «مَا مِنْ أحَدٍ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ، إلَّا رَدَّ اللهُ عَلَيَّ رُوْحي، حَتَّى أرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامَ»

The Prophet \pbuh said: “Every time somebody greets me, Allāh gives me back my soul for me to answer this greeting.”

قَالَ ﷺ: «لا تَدْخُلُوا الجَنَّة حَتَّى تُؤمِنُوا، وَ لَا تُؤمِنُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُّوا، أَوَلَا أدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ إذَا فَعَلْتُمُوهُ تَحَابَبْتُمْ، أَفْشُوا السَّلامَ بَيْنَكُمْ»

The Prophet \pbuh said: “You shall not enter paradise until you believe, and you shall not believe until you love one another. Shall I not inform you of something, if you were to act upon it, you will indeed achieve mutual love for one another? Spread the Salām amongst yourselves.”

قَالَ عمار بن ياسر(رضي الله عنه): «ثَلاثٌ مَنْ جَمَعَهُنَّ فَقَدْ جَمَعَ الإيْمَانَ: الإنْصَافُ مِنْ نَفْسِكَ، و بَذْلُ السَّلامِ لِلْعَالَمِ، و الإنْفَاقُ مِنَ الإقْتَارِ»

ʿAmmār bin Yāsir said: “Three characteristics, whoever combines them, has completed his faith: to be just, to spread greetings to all people and to spend (charitably) out of the little you have.”

وَ عَلَيْكُمْ

And upon you.
