  1. Ayah 1

    إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ

    When the sun is wrapped up

  2. Ayah 2

    وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ

    And when the stars fall, losing their luster

  3. Ayah 3

    وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ

    And when the mountains are moved away

  4. Ayah 4

    وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ

    And when the full-term she-camels (are) left untended

  5. Ayah 5

    وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ

    And when the wild beasts are gathered

  6. Ayah 6

    وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ

    And when the seas are made to overflow

  7. Ayah 7

    وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ

    And when the souls are paired

  8. Ayah 8

    وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ

    And when the female infant buried alive is asked

  9. Ayah 9

    بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ قُتِلَتْ

    For what sin she was killed

  10. Ayah 10

    وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ

    And when the pages are laid open

  11. Ayah 11

    وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ

    And when the sky is stripped away

  12. Ayah 12

    وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ

    And when the Hellfire is set ablaze

  13. Ayah 13

    وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ

    And when Paradise is brought near

  14. Ayah 14

    عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ

    Will know a soul what it has brought

  15. Ayah 15

    فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ

    But nay I swear by the retreating planets

  16. Ayah 16

    ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ

    Those that run (and) disappear

  17. Ayah 17

    وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ

    And the night when it departs

  18. Ayah 18

    وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ

    And the dawn when it breathes

  19. Ayah 19

    إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ

    Indeed, it (is) surely a word (of) a Messenger noble

  20. Ayah 20

    ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ

    Possessor of power with (the) Owner of the Throne secure

  21. Ayah 21

    مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ

    One to be obeyed and trustworthy

  22. Ayah 22

    وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍ

    And not (is) your companion mad

  23. Ayah 23

    وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ

    And certainly he saw him in the horizon the clear

  24. Ayah 24

    وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ

    And not he (is) on the unseen a withholder

  25. Ayah 25

    وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ

    And not it (is the) word (of) Shaitaan accursed

  26. Ayah 26

    فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ

    So where are you going

  27. Ayah 27

    إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

    Not it (is) except a reminder to the worlds

  28. Ayah 28

    لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ

    For whoever wills among you to take a straight way

  29. Ayah 29

    وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

    And not you will except that wills Allah Lord (of) the worlds
