  1. Ayah 1

    وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا

    By the sun and its brightness

  2. Ayah 2

    وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا

    And the moon when it follows it

  3. Ayah 3

    وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا

    And the day when it displays it

  4. Ayah 4

    وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا

    And the night when it covers it

  5. Ayah 5

    وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا

    And the heaven and (He) Who constructed it

  6. Ayah 6

    وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا

    And the earth and by (He) Who spread it

  7. Ayah 7

    وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا

    And (the) soul and (He) Who proportioned it

  8. Ayah 8

    فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا

    And He inspired it (to distinguish) its wickedness and its righteousness

  9. Ayah 9

    قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا

    Indeed he succeeds who purifies it

  10. Ayah 10

    وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا

    And indeed he fails who buries it

  11. Ayah 11

    كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ

    Denied Thamud by their transgression

  12. Ayah 12

    إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا

    When (was) sent forth (the) most wicked of them

  13. Ayah 13

    فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَـٰهَا

    But said to them (the) Messenger (of) Allah (It is the) she-camel (of) Allah and her drink

  14. Ayah 14

    فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا

    But they denied him and they hamstrung her So destroyed them their Lord for their sin and leveled them

  15. Ayah 15

    وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَـٰهَا

    And not He fears its consequences
