آية 1

وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ

By the star when it goes down

آية 2

مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰ

Not has strayed your companion and not has he erred

آية 3

وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰٓ

And not he speaks from the desire

آية 4

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْىٌ يُوحَىٰ

Not it (is) except a revelation revealed

آية 5

عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلْقُوَىٰ

Has taught him the (one) mighty (in) power

آية 6

ذُو مِرَّةٍ فَٱسْتَوَىٰ

Possessor of soundness Possessor of soundness And he rose

آية 7

وَهُوَ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ

While he (was) in the horizon the highest

آية 8

ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ

Then he approached and came down

آية 9

فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰ

And was (at) a distance (of) two bow-(lengths) or nearer

آية 10

فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦ مَآ أَوْحَىٰ

So he revealed to His slave what he revealed

آية 11

مَا كَذَبَ ٱلْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ

Not lied the heart what it saw

آية 12

أَفَتُمَـٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ

Then will you dispute with him about what he saw

آية 13

وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَىٰ

And certainly he saw him (in) descent another

آية 14

عِندَ سِدْرَةِ ٱلْمُنتَهَىٰ

Near (the) Lote Tree (of) the utmost boundary

آية 15

عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰٓ

Near it (is the) Garden (of) Abode

آية 16

إِذْ يَغْشَى ٱلسِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَىٰ

When covered the Lote Tree what covers

آية 17

مَا زَاغَ ٱلْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ

Not swerved the sight and not it transgressed

آية 18

لَقَدْ رَأَىٰ مِنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ

Certainly he saw of (the) Signs (of) his Lord the Greatest

آية 19

أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱللَّـٰتَ وَٱلْعُزَّىٰ

So have you seen the Lat and the Uzza

آية 20

وَمَنَوٰةَ ٱلثَّالِثَةَ ٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓ

And Manat the third the other

آية 21

أَلَكُمُ ٱلذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱلْأُنثَىٰ

Is for you the male and for Him the female

آية 22

تِلْكَ إِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَىٰٓ

This then (is) a division unfair

آية 23

إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّآ أَسْمَآءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَـٰنٍ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى ٱلْأَنفُسُ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ

Not they (are) except names you have named them you and your forefathers not has Allah sent down has Allah sent down for it any authority Not they follow except assumption and what desire the(ir) souls And certainly has come to them from their Lord the guidance

آية 24

أَمْ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰ

Or (is) for man what he wishes

آية 25

فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ

But for Allah (is) the last and the first

آية 26

۞ وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغْنِى شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَن يَأْذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرْضَىٰٓ

And how many of (the) Angels in the heavens not will avail their intercession anything except after after [that] Allah has given permission Allah has given permission for whom He wills and approves

آية 27

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ ٱلْأُنثَىٰ

Indeed those who (do) not believe in the Hereafter surely they name the Angels name(s) (of) female

آية 28

وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ ۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ شَيْـًٔا

And not for them about it any knowledge Not they follow but assumption And indeed the assumption (does) not avail against the truth anything

آية 29

فَأَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا

So turn away from (him) who turns away from Our Reminder and not he desires except the life (of) the world

آية 30

ذَٰلِكَ مَبْلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ

That (is) their sum of knowledge Indeed your Lord (is) He (Who) knows best (he) who strays from His Path and He knows best (he) who is guided

آية 31

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَـٰٓـُٔوا۟ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ بِٱلْحُسْنَى

And for Allah (is) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth that He may recompense those who do evil with what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best

آية 32

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَـٰٓئِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ ۚ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِذْ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِذْ أَنتُمْ أَجِنَّةٌ فِى بُطُونِ أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ ۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ

Those who avoid great sins and the immoralities except the small faults indeed your Lord (is) vast (in) forgiveness He (is) most knowing about you (is) most knowing about you when He produced you from the earth and when you (were) fetuses in (the) wombs (of) your mothers So (do) not ascribe purity (to) yourselves He knows best (he) who fears

آية 33

أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى تَوَلَّىٰ

Did you see the one who turned away

آية 34

وَأَعْطَىٰ قَلِيلًا وَأَكْدَىٰٓ

And gave a little and withheld

آية 35

أَعِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ

Is with him (the) knowledge (of) the unseen so he sees

آية 36

أَمْ لَمْ يُنَبَّأْ بِمَا فِى صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

Or not he was informed with what (was) in (the) Scriptures (of) Musa

آية 37

وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلَّذِى وَفَّىٰٓ

And Ibrahim who fulfilled

آية 38

أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ

That not will bear a bearer of burdens (the) burden (of) another

آية 39

وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

And that is not for man except what he strives (for)

آية 40

وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُۥ سَوْفَ يُرَىٰ

And that his striving will soon be seen

آية 41

ثُمَّ يُجْزَىٰهُ ٱلْجَزَآءَ ٱلْأَوْفَىٰ

Then he will be recompensed for it the recompense the fullest

آية 42

وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلْمُنتَهَىٰ

And that to your Lord (is) the final goal

آية 43

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضْحَكَ وَأَبْكَىٰ

And that He [He] makes (one) laugh and makes (one) weep

آية 44

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحْيَا

And that He [He] causes death and gives life

آية 45

وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰ

And that He created the pairs the male and the female

آية 46

مِن نُّطْفَةٍ إِذَا تُمْنَىٰ

From a semen-drop when it is emitted

آية 47

وَأَنَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلنَّشْأَةَ ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ

And that upon Him (is) the bringing forth another

آية 48

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغْنَىٰ وَأَقْنَىٰ

And that He [He] enriches and suffices

آية 49

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعْرَىٰ

And that He [He] (is the) Lord (of) Sirius

آية 50

وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهْلَكَ عَادًا ٱلْأُولَىٰ

And that He destroyed Aad the first

آية 51

وَثَمُودَا۟ فَمَآ أَبْقَىٰ

And Thamud so not He spared

آية 52

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَىٰ

And (the) people (of) Nuh before before Indeed, they they were they were more unjust and more rebellious

آية 53

وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَىٰ

And the overturned cities He overthrew

آية 54

فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ

So covered them what covered

آية 55

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ

Then which (of) the Favors (of) your Lord will you doubt

آية 56

هَـٰذَا نَذِيرٌ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلْأُولَىٰٓ

This (is) a warner from the warners the former

آية 57

أَزِفَتِ ٱلْـَٔازِفَةُ

Has approached the Approaching Day

آية 58

لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ

Not is for it besides besides Allah any remover

آية 59

أَفَمِنْ هَـٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ تَعْجَبُونَ

Then of this statement you wonder

آية 60

وَتَضْحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبْكُونَ

And you laugh and (do) not weep

آية 61

وَأَنتُمْ سَـٰمِدُونَ

While you amuse (yourselves)

آية 62

فَٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ ۩

So prostrate to Allah and worship (Him)
