Ayah 1
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
Woe to every slanderer backbiter
Ayah 2
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
The one who collects wealth and counts it
Ayah 3
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
Thinking that his wealth will make him immortal
Ayah 4
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
Nay Surely he will be thrown in the Crusher
Ayah 5
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
And what will make you know what the Crusher (is)
Ayah 6
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
A Fire Allah kindled
Ayah 7
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
Which mounts up to the hearts
Ayah 8
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
Indeed, it (will be) upon them closed over
Ayah 9
فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
